From a young age, Naturopathic medicine has impacted my health. This experience along with my passion for helping others made my decision to become an ND obvious.
I obtained my degree in Biology and Psychology at Thompson Rivers University andcompleted the four year intensive Naturopathic Medical program at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC. I have always enjoyed outdoor activities and have been an avid skier/snowboarder since I learned how to walk. Some of my other favourite activities include yoga of all types and walks near the ocean or in the forest with my husband and infant son. Over the past ten years, I have been fortunate to volunteer with many medical organizations in many countries including Eastern Europe, Central America, and India.
These experiences have given me a better understanding of healthcare and living conditions around the world. They also deepened my understanding of the value and power treating the cause of disease has and how far compassion and empathy go to assisting patients with their journey back to health.
I am a member in good standing with the following associations:
College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia
British Columbia Naturopathic Association
Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors
Philosophy: The human body has the incredible ability to heal itself when given the right tools. I am focused on living a balanced and preventative lifestyle and supporting my patients in doing the same.
